We arrived on Friday after being awake all night, as we had to leave for the airport at 3:00 a.m. Our flight landed in time for the hotel’s 2:00 p.m. check-in, but when we arrived, we were told our room wasn’t ready. We were asked to come back in 20 minutes, but after waiting, it still wasn’t available. In the end, we didn’t get our room until nearly two hours after check-in time, and there was no apology or explanation. Our room was okay. It was a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable, so we had no complaints about the room itself. The food was very disappointing. Dinner was mainly fish, and the meat dishes were often undercooked. Breakfast had very little choice, and even the eggs were cold. I was also concerned to see raw fish placed next to raw chicken, with the fish juices coming into contact with the chicken, which is a serious food hygiene issue. The staff were unfriendly throughout our stay. On several occasions we said “hola” when greeting members of staff, but they didn’t acknowledge us, smile, or even respond with a greeting. I’m not sure whether it was a language barrier, but compared with the many hotels I’ve stayed in across Spain, this was by far the worst customer service I’ve experienced. The only other positive was the location. The area is beautiful, with lovely beaches, although it is quite hilly. Unfortunately, I would not stay at htop Molinos Park Hotel again and would not recommend it.
