Good day everyone, we just returned from this hotel a couple of days ago, and I want to say that the hotel does not live up to the 5-star rating. The food is monotonous, the children were bored, the entertainment program is weak, the staff is responsive, but it feels like the management is too stingy - you had to beg for everything in the room. The vacation was so-so, the only thing that saves the hotel is the sea. She should have added 300 dollars and chosen Sunrice Diamond, my sister is staying there now and it's definitely a solid 5-star - everything for children and vacationers, everything is new, clean, and there are 5 à la carte restaurants with diverse cuisine. I will never go back to Mövenpick
A very nice hotel for a first time in Egypt. Fenced, guarded large area with access to the Nama Bay promenade. 4 beaches, actually one, where you can walk on the sand and there is a good descent from the pier to the coral reef nearby. From September 16th to the 26th, there were always enough beds, they never took them in the morning, they came and found a spot for themselves. The hotel was completely full by the 24th, when the high season begins and the temperature drops. The sea is clean, the corals and fish are very beautiful) I saw a ray, many surgeon fish, Arabian fish, parrotfish, Napoleon fish, butterflyfish, lanternfish, flute fish, angels, Picasso, a handsome Mascovy needlefish, a dolphin swam by... There is a large black ray, a moray eel, and a turtle lives at the pier, but I didn't manage to see it, although I spent almost the whole vacation in the water)) The underwater world is very colorful and diverse, you can't list all the fish. All rooms have a sea view, we took a room after renovation with a French balcony on the 4th floor, the furniture condition is 4, everything works, but not without nuances)) The air conditioning works perfectly, there is a refrigerator, kettle, robes, slippers, shampoo, gel, hair conditioner, razor... we asked them to empty the mini-bar refrigerator right away, as the prices are not democratic)) We bought everything we wanted to have in our refrigerator at Nama Bay) Food is for 4, you will always be full, but without frills, no queues, small places for eggs in the morning and dinner, where they cook for you. Good coffee from the coffee machine. If you want to be served quickly and with quality, don't skimp on the bucks) There are 2 à la carte restaurants on the hotel grounds. Indian-paid and Egyptian El Kababgy, which we visited. El Kababgy is an excellent restaurant, it is free once with a trip of 7 days or more, there is a rating on Tripadvisor. Everything is fast, tasty, but the menu is limited; you can choose drinks, they serve meat, lyulya, and kuru, and the flatbreads are delicious. In the evening, a great view of Nama Bay, the sea, and the other shore. The main downside is that there is nowhere to sit for free at the all-inclusive in the evening. In a nice bar with a view, everything costs money. A $4 cocktail, without frills)), a $13 hookah, loud music... All of this can be done much cheaper at Nama Bay, the same simple hookah for $3 and there's a party in the evening 🔥 Many people speak Russian, maybe not very well, but you can understand each other using some English. There is a Russian employee at the reception, Anastasia, you can ask her any questions, but she is not very inclined to help, she answers in monosyllables. Overall, the conclusions about the staff are: they do their job well, they don't extort tips, they are moderately friendly, but they are geared towards flow rather than having regular customers. Animation for 3+, there's nothing to write about even about that)) charging, darts, some dances for grandmas, and evening events, like a 90s disco and belly dancing. There is Russian music, but a lot of Arabic music; you can hear 90s hits at the disco. We probably won't return to this hotel, as the acquaintances gave us a chance to understand where it might be better, but we will return to Egypt for sure)) because we won't get to the beloved Cuba anytime soon;
