We booked a week at this hotel , a family of 4 kids are 16 and 14 years . All inclusive First impression was ok , room was clean and tidy You get arm bands different colour for kids / Adults . Then we discovered the sofa bed was broken its very narrow see photo , Hotel said nothing they could do . The Hotel has 4 pools ( and a toddler pool ) , 2 are for adults only , The main pool ( used by kids) is 1.7m deep . The other kids pool which is 1.4m deep has a sign saying no children under 16 go figure !! Our son jumped into the main pool shallow end as there was no steps , immediately one of the waiters started to yell at him , i intervened and asked why he was talking to our child , clearly with arm band , He said no diving or jumping although no signs no signs , i said you discuss with an adult you have upset our child, i witnessed this on several occasions with other families , The waiter had no pool training so no idea why he was intervening. The Upshot was our kid was upset and didn't want to go in the swimming pool. they have these UV water fountains . My wife used one and had violent dioreah we when i went to reception to ask for tablets or bottled water at 8:45 The female receptionist was incredibly rude . This was the same receptionist That I paid 105 e hotel tax but we received a text message saying we owed it . On check out . She demanded the 105 e . I explained i had already paid it on arrival she was very rude until i produced the receipt... oh it was my other colleague who you paid .. no it wasn't i replied it was you !! terrible attitude for a receptionist clearly trying to obtain 105 euros . The other issues are Smoking , for families people vaping and smoking around the pool , there are no signs prohibiting smoking , no designated smoking areas even in breakfast we sat next to a women who took out a vape . The drinks ,,,,, the beer is flat and tastes watered down , the cocktails are all served from a gas pump ,,, sweet sickly and we couldn't taste any alcohol, , the food is bland and repetitive , who gave this a hotel a 5 star rating ....its a joke i wouldn't grade it as a 4 star . as others have mentioned the girl serving the cocktails .next to the restaurant....yes there is only one server !! has obviously gone to the same school as the receptionist ,, just rude . internet , there is a tv in the room with netflix ... great only its impossible to load due to poor wifi connection , we managed to watch 30mins for the duration of stay , internet speed is a joke entertainment ... if you have ever seen the Fawlty towers sketch with mauel on the guitar.. then you will appreciate the entertainment which consists of a local cretian folk group , dancing and singing a couple of times a week for about 1 and a half hours ... and that's it .. i mean come on if you put on a show ,,, make it a show Its a shame as this could be a great hotel if the staff were trained better , it had a designated smoking area , not in the pools or restaurant .. and a family room should have 4 beds not a sofa that kids can fall out of

The hotel is just awesome. My husband and I had a rest for 7 days, we got not just a rest, but enjoyed this vacation. Clean, cosy room with a gorgeous view. Atmosphere is beautiful. Nice employees, especially the gorgeous woman Despina, who works at the Stasie bar. She has the most delicious cherry liqueur and ice cream. She is a star. The choice of food is not great, but everything is very tasty. I especially enjoyed eating in the main restaurant with an incredible view. No one knocked on the door for cleaning in the morning, the department did such a service, if you need to clean the room, you just need to go to their website and order the room cleaning the next day, it's very convenient. There's also a transfer to the sea and to the city. I think it's very convenient and you don't have to worry about getting to the beach. In the summer, there is a noise from cicadas on the island, you can hear it from morning to evening, but the most interesting thing is that it does not interfere with rest at all. We are very satisfied with the hotel, service and warm welcome. At least I didn't find any cons. If we would like to return to this hotel - definitely yes. This hotel fully justifies the cost of its vacation. There are also cats living on the territory of the hotel, they can be found sleeping in different places on a high chair in a coffee shop or on sunbeds, they are very cute. In general, Crete is a very beautiful island. I like it in Greece.

Beautifully laid out site with multiple pools as well as private pools. Nice rooms. Very clean - as was the whole place - impeccable! Restaurant was slightly limited in choice but there were always lovely salads and crusty bread and usually chips and pasta so one shouldn’t go hungry. Dishes were constantly refreshed but be warned meal times ended very promptly! Could do with a second fizzy drinks machine as that was always busy! Also queue for drinks in the bars could be long as usually only one person serving and one collecting glasses etc). Staff were very friendly and helpful and generally lovely. Taxi to old town was €25 each way. There is a hotel shuttle (€11 return) but book in advance as we couldn’t get a space. The hotel also provide a free shuttle to the beach and beach restaurant (not in the all inclusive). We had a lovely meal there - great sunset. Not cheap but worth it. We had a lovely week and would recommend this hotel but be mindful of the transfer time, accessibility of the site (buggy available). There were no issues with bands being cut off at checkout on last day as per a previous review. A very pleasant stay!
