Location is well set with a beautiful beach, being Cyprus it is rocky close to shore so sea shoes is a must. Perfect for snorkelling or scuba diving around the underwater museum. It is a 5 minute walk to sandy bay which is equally beautiful with watersports. It is 3 bus stops away from the heart of the town but if you fancy a 20 minute walk you can do this down the approach strip or along the seafront. atmosphere is abit meh, while all staff are extremely polite, attentive it’s just abit lack luster. Like other all inclusives I have been on there was little reason to stay on site. Entertainment program is the same each day. Two sessions of aqua aerobics during the day with the same playlist which becomes frankly quite annoying to hear shakira over and over again. The evening entertainment is typically a mini disco for the kids which lasts roughly 20 minutes and again the same playlist. They sometimes having something after which is usually a boring singer. The only decent night was the Greek dancers as that was entertaining and they got the audience involved. This is the most disappointing element of the stay…. Even just playing abit of music throughout the day, not pumping loud but just abit of music even a radio would have been nice. Food and drink, in contrast the food was the best I have had in all my years at all inclusive resorts across many countries. Don’t change this!!!!! Drink now I’m not a regular drinker, but I’m sure spirits are watered down. I could literally spend all day and night drinking and it was almost like I was drinking a mocktail. Accommodation was to a very high standard, however like many others who have reviewed….the place wasn’t without fault but what mattered is the maintenance team reacted to defects quickly which is what matters in this scenario. Facilities again this is abit of a let down whe considering how much this place costs….what you see is what you get on the pictures. One large pool, couple of smaller pools which are for smaller kids and that’s it. There isn’t a lot to do here, you should manager your expectations to leave site most days and find something else to do around Cyprus because you will get bored. Value, roughly 4k for a week for a family of 4, with a late check out, considering what you actually get I feel like we have been overcharged by 10-15% additionally expect to be moved if you have late check out. It’s a complete pain when you have paid for something which turns out to be a massive inconvenience because you end up packing all your stuff up to only go to another place to then restart for your final day.
This is an absolute gem of a hotel - my girlfiend and I had a fantastic, relaxing stay here for the last 10 days and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Positives: The food here is excellent - there are themed nights each night which helps to keep things varied. We stayed for 10 days and found something different to try each night. Everything we tried was really good; we ate out at a Mexican restaurant one night and the hotel's Mexican food was better! There is also a snack bar and 2 a la carte restaurants to book into during your stay, included in the package. Staff are friendly and attentive, and work hard every day to keep everything spotless. There is a really friendly, relaxed atmosphere in the hotel, both with the staff and the other guests. The pool area is really nice and, again, kept clean by the staff. The hotel has really good facilities - the tennis court is very nice! The location is also really good - you can walk to Nissi Beach and the main strip/town. There are bus stops on the main road outside the hotel which take you to Green Bay Beach and Turtle Bay. The hotel itself is right on Pernera beach - I would advise bringing sea shoes though as the entrance is a bit rocky. Our room was upgraded free of charge when we arrived, so always worth asking about. Another positive was that on our last day we were allowed to access all facilities and the restaurant 'til our flight pick up at 8pm, despite checking out of our room at 11am. Things the hotel could improve: The Wifi - there is no signal from the rooms. The rooms themselves, whilst clean, tidy, functional, are quite basic - there is a gap in the shower partition which means that water leaks onto the bathroom floor. Sunbeds - towels went down at 7am or earlier. The main issue was people 'reserving' sunbeds using hotel pool towels and then not showing up all day! There are signs up stating that items left on clearly unused beds would be removed by staff. This never happened and would go some way to solving the problem. That said, we never went without a bed, but we did have to join the early morning club... Entertainment - we cannot comment on the kid's club, but overall the hotel does not put much stock into the entertainment programme. There is an animation team, but the aqua aerobics was the same every day, and there was a lack of enterprise in delivering or advertising what was on offer. It didn't make much difference to us but was definitely an area that could be improved. Overall an excellent hotel - if they fixed the minor issues above it would be 5 stars! We would stay again.
The overall experience at the hotel was over the expectations! Good things: The customer service at the arrival and the treatment by the caring and nice hotel staff (waiters, room service staff, etc.) was excellent. A special shout-out to Eleni and Giota as well as the whole restaurant team! Moreover, the buffet food, its fruits and vegetables were fresh, nutritious and well-balanced with many different alternatives for people with specific food preferences. Not to mention the amazing entertainment program (with live music, dancers, etc.), that was suitable for both families, kids and adults. The large and warm swimming pools, gym, ping-pong table and other freely accessible equipment were clean and well-maintained! Less good things: Each room only included one access-card even if two adults lived in one room.
