Rude staff and dirty room. You could not change anything on the a/c settings and was either veryy cold or no a/c at all. Tv was not working even after we asked them to fix it. If you want calm vacation you should avoid it
My family and I booked 3 rooms at this hotel for a 6 night stay through loveholidays. Please believe all the other negative reviews on this hotel and do not book a stay here. Firstly, this hotel is advertised as ‘Capital coast resort and spa’, however upon arrival we found that this hotel is actually called ‘Blue lagoon kosher hotel’. No where online was it advertised that this was actually a kosher hotel specifically for Jewish families. Anyway, we had no issues with this, however we were constantly met with disgusted looks from both staff and other guests. We felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. We arrived at night extremely exhausted after travelling all day with 2 babies and a huge amount of baggage. The reception staff told us to grab a luggage trolley ourselves from around the corner and wheel our own luggages to our own rooms (which were spread across 3 different floors). No staff member came forward to help. I have never experienced a service like this in my life. When the man at reception informed us that the 3 rooms we booked will all be on completely different floors, we kindly requested that our disabled mother is placed closer to one of our rooms. The man was extremely rude and yelled that this was not possible. Our disabled mother was placed on her own all the way up on the third floor. We booked a superior king suite which was actually just two twin beds pushed together. My baby, who slept inbetween us, would sink into the gap every night. We felt unsafe one night as our room door was broken and would not close fully, when we raised this with reception they didn’t bother sending maintenance to our room until the next morning who unexpectedly forced open our door early morning without warning while we were asleep with our baby. Pool staff were in a rush to end their shift and go home early everyday so they would close the pool 1 hour early every evening and turn off the jacuzzi earlier than advertised too. One evening when we requested one of the staff put the jacuzzi back on as there was still 2 hours till closing time, he did so and was yelled at by his colleague for doing so. The cleaning staff are also extremely rude. The rooms had dirty hard floors so we placed a comforter from one of the beds on the floor to give our babies a safe, soft crawling space. They yelled at us for doing so. The massage rooms were closed due to renovations which defeats the purpose of a ‘spa’ hotel. We had no idea about this while booking otherwise we would have chosen a different hotel. We were looking forward to daily massages, it was one of the main selling points for the two postpartum mothers in our group who really needed a relaxing break. There was no AC in the lobby, extremely poor wifi across the whole hotel, leaking roof in the gym, and the hotel/ rooms in general were just severely rundown and in need of renovation. This is definitely not a 4* hotel and is quite literally the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The horror stories are endless, I have only listed a few. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, please avoid at all costs and save yourself the bad experience.
