We vacationed in Egypt in September and want to share our impressions of the King Tut Resort Hurghada. We chose the budget option so as not to overpay for "walls," since we planned to spend most of the time at the beach and on excursions. The hotel completely met our expectations and was perfect for a relaxing and eventful vacation. The area around the hotel is very compact and well-kept. The main advantage is its location on the first line and the magnificent protected lagoon with a sandy beach entrance to the sea. In September the weather was hot, but here, thanks to the beach's favorable location, it was always comfortable to swim, the water is clean, and the entry is absolutely safe and comfortable even without special shoes. There are sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, although the equipment itself looks a little worn, but it absolutely did not prevent enjoying the vacation. There is also a small water park with slides on the territory where you can have a fun time. Our room was quite normal, with a working air conditioner and a balcony from which a pleasant view opened. The food in the restaurant was standard for a budget quartet: you could always find fresh vegetables, soups, side dishes, and for lunch and dinner, they served meat, fish, and delicious pastries. Since the hotel is in the very center of Hurghada, it is very convenient to get to any point in the city from it, and there are many small shops outside the area for evening walks. I want to pay special attention to the excursions, because we happily spent the money saved on the tour on experiences. It is better to book tours with the local company Grand Utopia Travel; you can easily find them by name on the internet. Their prices are significantly lower than hotel guides, and the selection of tours is huge. We especially recommend taking a tour of Cairo in a small group. There are a maximum of eight people in the group, which is incredibly convenient: no fuss, no one is waiting for anyone. We were driven in a comfortable minibus with air conditioning, the journey was easy, and the guide spoke Russian perfectly, telling us very interesting and informative things. We also took a dolphin cruise in Dolphin Bay. There were very few people on the yacht, the atmosphere was intimate and pleasant, and the yacht itself turned out to be brand new and clean. We not only enjoyed the views of the Red Sea but also swam with masks in the open sea. Overall, the trip in September was a great success. King Tut Resort Hurghada is perfect for those looking for the optimal price-to-quality ratio, who want to relax by the sea and actively travel on excursions without unnecessary overpayments.
