A Wonderful Stay – Fantastic Staff, Beautiful Views and an Ideal Location! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Poseidon Playa for three nights in October and had such a lovely experience from start to finish. After a delayed flight and a much later arrival than planned, we were greeted warmly by the reception staff, who immediately made us feel welcome. We were even asked if we would like a kettle and cups for our room, which was such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated! Check-in was quick and efficient, and we were even offered a choice of floors. Our room was immaculately clean, with plenty of fresh towels, English TV channels, a fridge and a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. It had absolutely everything we wanted and needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a definite 10/10! The selection was enormous, with something to suit everyone. There was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and everything was well organised. The pool area was equally lovely, beautifully maintained and clean, with plenty of sun loungers available. The location is absolutely ideal. You’re within walking distance of the Old Town and the livelier areas of Benidorm, with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and beautiful coastal walks to explore. Personally, we much preferred this end of Benidorm. The beach, bars and surrounding streets felt quieter and more relaxed, yet everything was still easily accessible. There are also supermarkets and convenient bus routes nearby, making it a great base for exploring further afield. One thing that particularly stood out to me was just how incredibly hard the staff work. Whether in reception, the restaurant, housekeeping or around the hotel, everyone seemed genuinely attentive, hardworking and committed to keeping the hotel running smoothly. It certainly didn’t go unnoticed and deserves recognition. The hotel also has a lovely bar area, with entertainment and activities advertised in advance for the week ahead. During our stay, the hotel attracted a slightly older clientele, including lots of Spanish guests, which we personally saw as a real positive. We were looking for somewhere with a more relaxed atmosphere, away from the typical stag and hen party scene, and this hotel suited us perfectly. One small thing worth mentioning: The walls are quite thin, so you can occasionally hear louder conversations and doors closing in neighbouring rooms. However, we soon adjusted and it certainly didn’t spoil our stay. If you’re particularly sensitive to noise, perhaps pack some earplugs. We didn’t need them and slept perfectly well! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The combination of a fantastic location, excellent breakfast, spotless accommodation, beautiful sea views and exceptionally hardworking staff made this hotel a brilliant choice. Would we recommend it? Absolutely! Would we stay again? Without hesitation! Thank you to all the staff at Poseidon Playa for making our little October getaway such an enjoyable one. ☀️

I could not fully appreciate the enjoyment of the hotel, but from the experience I deduce that it has a good location although without parking; acceptable buffet, clean rooms and quick response to any anomaly. Special mention to Noelia, at the front desk, attentive at all times. Balanced price/quality ratio, it is possible to return.

I have been staying at this hotel for many years, it has a very good location and the rooms are gradually being renovated (which they already needed). The dining room waiters are quite pleasant, however those at the bar (Gentlemen, a little friendliness and a smile don't hurt) who work most of the year with older people who appreciate a slightly more cordial treatment. I have also noticed that the quantity of food has dropped a little, before they served whole flans, now portions (which by the way are delicious). Otherwise, no comment. Regards
