Great hotel, clean, friendly staff, Excellent breakfast although the restaurant is a bit noisy, poor acoustics due to a large hall with stone floors, chairs scraping, and all the guests chatting cheerfully. Small patio outside where you can eat a little more quietly if the weather allows. We had a quiet 2-room room on the 5th floor with a small balcony overlooking the village and the pool. There is no sun on your balcony. I think high summer is lovely but autumn is a shame. If you choose sea view, it is very hot there in the summer and you have more trouble with busy street and train noises. Beds are fine, a bit on the hard side. They are innerspring mattresses, so if one turns over, the other feels it. Wouldn't you ask for two separate beds, lovely walk-in shower, well, a small bathroom. The rooms are tidy! Quiet environment, small coastal town where you can eat wonderfully. There is 1 bicycle rental and 1 car rental. Beach (via tunnel if there is no water, otherwise via transfer station) and train and bus station 150 m from the hotel. You are walking on the beach in Santa Susanna or Calella in 45 minutes, but you are also catching the train. Also to go to Barcelona. At the pool, the sun starts to show around 4:00 PM. It is small and feels a bit enclosed. For the spa (indoor pool) and sauna you have to pay separately, I understand the sauna but not the indoor pool because the information seems to suggest it is included. There are 2 swimming pools. No kids under 16 are allowed to swim inside either, not very kid-friendly while they do offer family rooms. Regarding burial and half/full pension, I can tell you nothing because we did not use it here. 1 x dinner eaten for €20,- pp incl. One drink, we didn't recommend it. In the coastal town, all sorts of nice restaurants where you can get everything freshly prepared and in a cozier environment for almost the same price. The Italian restaurant closing at the hotel is a real bargain for almost the same price In short, good location, excellent care but not susceptible to repetition due to the location of the pool, compliance, and no beds on the beach.

We were at the Aqua Hotel Promenade for the second time and were very satisfied again. A very well-managed hotel with experienced, motivated staff. We really like the location on the expansive beach and the good transport connection by train to the city and to the Barcelona airport. With the window closed and the air conditioning on, you cannot really hear the trains. Otherwise, it did not bother us on the terrace/balcony with a sea view either.
