Honest review, first time here, and still here till the 14th here to celebrate our anniversary. we had private taxi transfer which was nice we arrived quickly, on arrival rooms were not ready, we had to wait till around 3pm for room we arrived at 11.30am bear in mind we had been up since 2am for a 6am flight. We paid extra for the upgrade club room which included separate areas to eat, room with air conditioning and own bar, nice big rooms which I cannot fault our room was huge had two bathrooms living area two balcony’s. Very clean room 1217 although hair dyer is faulty… will be asking for new one. Mini bar with selected drinks not many, be nice if it had fresh orange juice or something personally as can’t have pop. Overall the hotel is big but I find that on arrival your not given much information not even a map, so having to find places, it took us two days to figure out where everything was. block 4 which seems to be mainly families isn’t very nice to eat at personally for couples. For such a big hotel I think food is very limited and not very well flavoured that’s just personal preference. They do cater well for children it would seem. Also, according to their rules children are not allowed on there own without parents in the club areas but that’s not managed well because it always seem full of children unsupervised, which I don’t think should be allowed. As adults we go there to chill out and get cool. There are so many places for children to go on their own, just feel this should be managed better.
We visited this hotel as a family of four. Although our children are now 15 and 20, we're still restricted to travelling during the school holidays, so we appreciate that hotels are naturally much busier at this time of year. This is quite a long review because I wanted to cover several aspects of our stay. The hotel is effectively two separate hotels that have been merged into one, and they still feel quite distinct. The upper section has the main pool, sun terrace, large buffet restaurant and snack bar. Beer, wine and soft drinks are self-service, while spirits and cocktails are served by bar staff. This is also where the daytime activities and entertainment take place. The lower section, where the sea-view rooms are located, has its own pool, a smaller restaurant.there is also a bar where all drinks are served by staff. This area has a much more relaxed atmosphere and, of course, lovely sea views. The main restaurant is large and has more of a canteen feel. The food is good, with plenty of choice, although the selection doesn't change much throughout the week. Beer, wine and soft drinks are self-service. The lower restaurant has a much more refined atmosphere and feels like a proper restaurant rather than a buffet hall. It focuses more on Italian dishes and is considerably quieter, although it doesn't open for lunch. Despite the sign stating that reservations are required, this wasn't the case during the summer—we simply walked in and were seated. The food was consistently good with plenty of choice, and this became our preferred place for both breakfast and dinner. The hotel itself is spotless. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped and cleaned to a very high standard every day. We didn't have sea-view rooms, but as we booked at the last minute and requested two rooms next to each other, this wasn't an issue for us. Be aware that the hotel complex is very large, so there's quite a lot of walking between different areas. One feature we really liked was the drinks token system. While some guests complain about having to exchange a token for a glass at the start of the day, we felt it was a small inconvenience that resulted in a much cleaner pool area, with very few abandoned glasses lying around. Many guests brought their own large reusable cups, allowing them to carry bigger drinks or multiple drinks at once, and the hotel appeared happy to allow this. Up to this point, our impression was of a large, exceptionally clean hotel with good food, good drinks and generally friendly staff. Food is available throughout the day from the snack bars, so there's always something to eat. Unfortunately, two issues significantly affected our overall experience: the daily sunbed battle and the long queues at the bars. Every morning, many sunbeds had already been reserved by 7:00 am, with towels left unattended for hours. Staff seemed largely unconcerned by this. Occasionally, notices were placed on reserved beds stating that belongings would be removed after 30 minutes, but this happened very infrequently and usually not until after 8:30 am, by which time the people had returned anyway. The policy simply wasn't enforced consistently. The bars also struggled to cope with demand. Long queues were common, sometimes with a dozen or more people waiting. We've stayed in many all-inclusive hotels over the years and have never experienced queues quite this bad. Several previous reviews mention the same issue, yet it doesn't appear that much has been done to address it. Finally, although there was a lifeguard on duty, he spent much of his time looking at his phone while guests regularly ignored the clearly displayed "No Diving" signs without any intervention. With AI you get one free meal in the ala carte restaurant. Book this asap when you get there, it gets booked up straight away, but worth doing. There is also a free shuttle bus twice a day, but again this gets booked up very fast, so book this when you arrive Overall, we had a lovely holiday. The hotel has many positives—it's clean, comfortable, serves good food and has hardworking, friendly staff. However, the persistent bar queues and poorly managed sunbed situation would prevent us from returning. For us, this hotel falls short of the four-star standard it advertises and feels closer to a good three-star property.
Was a nice hotel seemed to need a bit of work here and there ie one of the pools the tiles were coming off everywhere, some of the lifts didn't work so people in wheel chairs were having to go all the way round the hotel to get to places. Rooms were OK food was very plain no flavour. Good get to the sea but no beach as such very stoney and rocks but was nice to snorkel seen plenty of nice fish.
