We arrived later in the evening after a long flight and check in was easy. The staff at the front desk and bar were friendly. Our room was a typical standard room and it offered a nice view of the grounds and Mediterranean. It had a small balcony. One deal breaker for some people would be hearing the aircraft taking off and landing at nearby Málaga airport every five minutes. That lasted until about 23:30. For the one night we were there the noise wasn’t an issue, but would be annoying for longer stays. One suggestion would be to polish the bathroom countertops to remove the water spots and glass rings that no long wipe off.

The hotel is old and the rooms are large but could use updating with some new decor. The bathrooms are great -- large with 2 sinks. The pool is a giant round pool in the middle of the property. There are no chairs to sit next to it oddly..so not appealing to me. The golf course is not in great shape. Needs lots of work...very messy and muddy. We are American so perhaps our golf course standards are a bit different. The tennis courts are a mess and in general the property could use a refresh...it reminds me of camp or a club med. Great location for the airport and fun to golf next to the sea.
