Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. We were on a family holiday with a group of eight people, and unfortunately, our trip got off to a terrible start.
While we were at reception completing the check-in process and organizing our booking, my wife and her aunt were sitting on a nearby couch waiting for us. According to my wife's aunt, a group of people distracted them and stole the backpack belonging to my wife's cousin. We hadn't even checked in yet, and we had already been robbed.
We immediately reported the incident to the hotel's managing director, hoping for support and understanding. Sadly, we received neither. Instead of showing empathy or offering assistance, we felt that we were being lectured about the situation. The lack of compassion made an already traumatic experience even worse.
The stolen backpack contained several important personal belongings, including electronic devices and two pairs of sunglasses worth approximately €400 each. Losing these valuables on the very first day of our holiday caused significant stress and anxiety, and it affected our entire week's vacation.
On a positive note, the reception staff, housekeeping team, bar staff, and restaurant employees were all friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel facilities were also clean and well maintained.
However, the food selection was quite repetitive, with breakfast and dinner offering almost the same choices every day. In addition, we did not find the hotel particularly suitable for families with children.
Overall, the theft incident and the management's response overshadowed any positive aspects of our stay, making it an experience we would not want to repeat.
Ocenjeno z 323knComfortable Multi-Generational Holiday with One Significant Drawback / health concerns
We enjoyed a multi-generational holiday at this hotel, booked through EasyJet Holidays. There were six of us staying across three rooms on a half-board basis.
The hotel is situated slightly away from the main marina and resort area, around 2–3 km away. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel, with frequent services taking around 10 minutes to reach the marina. There are also a handful of bars and restaurants within walking distance along the main road if you fancy a change of scenery.
We received a warm welcome on arrival. The rooms were spacious, clean, functional and all benefited from sea views.
Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to cater for different tastes, nationalities and dietary requirements. The omelette station was particularly popular with plenty of healthy and indulgent choices available.
Dinner offered a good selection with themed evenings providing some variety throughout the week, including cuisines such as Chinese and Mexican, alongside the usual staples. We also purchased toasties and pizzas from the pool bar for lunch on a few occasions.
Unfortunately, four of the six members of our group became quite unwell during the holiday, suffering from sickness and diarrhoea. As we did not eat anywhere outside the hotel during our stay, it is difficult not to consider the possibility that the illness may have originated from food consumed at the hotel, whether from the main restaurant or the pool bar. Equally, we cannot be certain of the cause, as illness can spread through contact with other guests and shared facilities. We are particular & cautious about hygiene, regularly washing our hands and even using the napkins provided to handle the serving utensils at the buffet. Looking back at what we had eaten, we suspected the pool bar food may have been the most likely source, but this remains speculation. Regardless of the cause, it was disappointing to spend several days confined to our rooms and concerned about what we could safely eat before travelling home.
