Very deteriorated, it does not correspond to a four-star hotel. Very friendly reception and competitive price.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel and, unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. The most upsetting incident happened in the restaurant. When I entered with a towel wrapped around my head, several staff members grabbed me by the arms and touched/poked my head without my consent. There was a sign at the entrance stating that guests were not allowed to enter wearing swimwear. If there was an additional dress-code requirement, it could have been explained to me politely. There was absolutely no reason to physically touch a guest. I went to reception to complain about what had happened. Instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the situation, the man at reception started shouting at me and spoke to me in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. Communication was also very difficult because the staff’s English was limited. Rather than helping to resolve the situation, this made the experience even more frustrating. After I complained, I also noticed that our room was no longer being cleaned properly. What disappointed me most was not simply a misunderstanding about the restaurant’s dress code, but the way I was treated when I tried to address the issue. Guests should be treated with respect, and their personal boundaries should be respected. This experience seriously affected our holiday. Unfortunately, I have never experienced such treatment at a hotel before. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Rating: Acceptable / Correct for short stays ​The Hotel Concordia Playa is a suitable option if you are looking for accommodation as a base of operations in Tenerife: ideal mainly for sleeping, resting, and taking advantage of breakfast before heading out to explore the island during the day. ​The excellent service from the staff stands out very positively, always kind and friendly, as well as the magnificent views and its strategic location. ​However, I do not consider it recommended for spending a lot of time in its facilities. The decor is outdated—typical of the 70s—and needs a general renovation to reach the quality expected of a 4-star hotel. Furthermore, the quietness of the room is compromised by the excessive noise from the air conditioning. ​In my case, booking the half-board plan was a mistake; the hotel serves its purpose if the idea is to use it as a starting point to visit the island and eat out, but not to enjoy a prolonged stay or full service at the establishment itself.
