Not really 4 stars....BF is extraordinary, anything you expect is there! Rooms are spacious, bathroom as well. Rugs on the hallways are ancient old with holes! Show hotel is old, but efforts to preserve are there. Cleaning ladies/system is very bad. They just don't do it, come late and don't change sheets! Unacceptable! Complaints don't really help. Reception is polite,takes note but nothing changes. Too bad...hotel is otherwise a nice place!

⭐ 1/5 – NEVER AGAIN! A disgrace for a 4-star hotel I am extremely disappointed and angry after my stay on September 6, 2026, at the ONA Princesa Playa. We paid €600.01 and, at that price, we thought we would at least be able to sleep properly. That wasn't even possible. I should point out that I was not a one-time guest: I used to come to this hotel about three times a year. After this experience, it's over. They have just permanently lost a loyal customer. In our room, it was unbearably hot and the air conditioning made a huge noise, comparable to a car engine. Impossible to sleep properly all night long. I was accompanied by my pregnant wife and our 6-month-old baby. Despite this, no real solution was offered to us. At 2 a.m., I went down to the front desk to ask for help. Response: impossible to do anything, impossible to change our room. We felt that our problem interested absolutely no one. The next morning, another attempt at the front desk. Same result: no manager available to see us, no solution, and not even a commercial gesture. We are simply asked to send an email! €600.01 to spend a sleepless night in a 4-star hotel and then have to chase after someone just to be heard: it is unacceptable. The most shocking thing is no longer just the air conditioning problem — a breakdown can happen in any hotel — but the way our situation was handled. It is when a problem occurs that you really see the quality of an establishment's service. After having been a loyal customer and coming several times a year, I will NEVER set foot in this hotel again. I do not recommend this establishment given my experience. I am attaching the video of the air conditioning noise. Everyone will be able to hear and form their own opinion on the conditions in which we were supposed to sleep for over $600.

Just returned from a one-week stay at Hotel Princesa Playa in Marbella. Having stayed here many years ago, it was disappointing to see how much the property has aged without being properly maintained its really gone down hill. Its definitely not operating at a true 4-star standard. There are broken tiles at lift area at ground floor level and also internal floor tiles with heavy dirty stains and mis matched tiles at the lift areas on floors. ​The rooms are very dated, though quality seems inconsistent (my Mams room was notably better than ours with decor). We paid extra for a sea view room, and while the view was nice, the balcony got no sun during the day despite requesting a sunny room in advance. The thin walls mean you hear everything from the neighboring rooms and definitely cant relax in the rooms at all and noise from the nearby gym area at beachfront carries throughout the day and evening with them playing their own music on speakers!! ​Additional inconveniences included extremely slow elevators and a haphazard breakfast spread where the options changed constantly rather than staying consistent each day. On a positive note, the breakfast staff were friendly and attentive, and while the pool area is small with uncomfortable loungers, we never had trouble finding one but you wouldn't want to spend long up there and chill out. ​Ultimately, this hotel might work okay if you just need a base for a city break style trip, but if you are looking to relax and chill out, I would avoid at all costs. It has great potential due to its location, but right now it falls short and struggles to offer the 4 star standard.
