After checking in, the receptionist asked where I had parked my car. When I indicated that it was in the car garage, I was told that the garage was full. I indicated that the possibility to park in the garage was precisely one of the reasons why I booked this accommodation, partly because of my full trunk as I was in transit. I have also shown my booking here. Nowhere in the booking conditions was it mentioned that parking was conditional. Because the car then had to leave the garage, I was forced to look for a parking space in the street. However, the street around the accommodation was completely full, so I eventually had to park a few streets away, about a five-minute walk. Furthermore, after checking in, I was told that I still had to pay a €100 deposit. This came as a surprise to me, as the full booking was already paid for and this deposit was not mentioned anywhere in the booking information or terms and conditions. Upon arrival, I also had a heavy bag with me. It was not asked if I needed help with bringing up my luggage. Upon departure, I therefore called the reception myself to ask if someone could help with my luggage. The room itself looked neat otherwise, but there were a number of points of concern: There was dirt in the shower. The air conditioning cooled insufficiently and made quite a bit of noise at night. The rooms are very echoey. Normally I don't write reviews quickly, but I find it important to share this experience. Especially because certain things only became clear after checking in, while I had different expectations based on the booking information. Therefore, it is good for future guests to know that parking is not guaranteed and that a deposit may be requested which is not clearly mentioned in the booking.
