We had our reservations about visiting Benidorm for the first time, but we really enjoyed our time. The hotel is excellent, right in Old town next to Tapas Alley and about 1 minute walk to Levante beach. Diana on reception was really helpful and welcoming, the hotel was very clean, the room was good. Bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Stayed home n 7th floor, I’ve seen some reviews moaning about noise from roof bar above, can honestly say never heard the music, the only noise was for about 5 minutes when they moved the outside furniture when closing the bar, it was nothing to complain about. Breakfast was good, catered for my wife with gluten intolerance. There is a fridge in the room, if I was to picky was there was no kettle tea making facility in room but that could be the type of room we had, wasn’t really a problem though. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we be returning next year.

A good hotel, but don’t book a room overlooking the street (especially on the first floor, like we did) if you’re a light sleeper and/or go to bed early as there are several bars below which are open until the early hours. Its situated on a pedestrianised street less than 2 minutes walk to the square where Oliver’s (a great little pub/bar) and tapas alley are. Dont get me wrong, its not a street like the main strip in new Benidorm which attract the hen and stag do's. Its a really nice street, with nice quality bars which attract the locals. 10/10 Breakfast was good, and included a hot option as well as continental style and fresh fruits. There are 2 coffee machines and a juice machine. 7.5/10 The guy in reception was very helpful in sorting a problem that we’d had with our booking, and also helped when we asked the question as to where the taxi we'd booked would be picking us up from seeing as its a pedestrianised street. 10/10 The room wasn’t very big, but was clean and well kept and had a good sized wardrobe and a shower with possibly the highest pressure to water I’ve ever encountered! For the price we paid 8/10 The main beach is only 2 minutes away, or you can get to the harbour and the other beach in just over 5 minutes. We did a boat trip over to the rock/island, which was 25 euros each and has a glass bottom so you can see the fish when it pulls up there. It’s a bigger walk up the rock than it looks, but gives you a great view of Benidorm. 9/10 Benidorm is whatever you want it to be - cheap beer and full English breakfasts down one end, and/or traditional Spanish bars and restaurants in the old town. We did a bit of both and really enjoyed it, but a long weekend was enough for us. Would we come back to this hotel? Yes. Just not staying on the first floor at the front of the hotel

Do not stay here if you want to have a good nights sleep. Stayed on the first floor overlooking the road, which is mostly pedestrianised except at night when Lorries come up and down in the early hours. People sit under your superior room with balcony till very late shouting and talking drinking because it’s an outside bar. Lift noise very bad outside rooms and there are 3 lifts on one floor. Reception staff not friendly. Kira has left. Very full hotel so cannot be moved to a quieter room that’s to the same standard but after 5 nights wouldn’t care if we were on the roof. Breakfast very mediocre.
