Excellent hotel, very helpful and polite staff on reception and ever where in the hotel We advised that we would be checking out at 08.30 and were offered picnic breakfasts, we had time to eat at the buffet, but a nice offer without bringing asked, the breakfast buffet was excellent, with a large and varied selection Our room on the second floor was clean and neat, with a double and single bed pushed together, shower had multiple jets and a good size Ideal location, straight over the road and onto the beach Would recommend and will return

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 15+ years and, until this visit, it had always been somewhere we genuinely enjoyed returning to. Sadly, this experience felt very different from the moment we arrived. Check in was disappointing. Much like another recent review mentioned, the member of staff who greeted us came across as abrupt and unwelcoming, making us feel more like an inconvenience than valued guests. It immediately created the wrong impression and unfortunately set the tone for the rest of the stay. We had booked directly with the hotel and paid extra for a sea view room, which sadly turned out to be a poor investment on our part. The room was on the second floor with a disappointing view, and there was also a significant amount of noise coming from the street below. The hotel still seems to rely heavily on the reputation it built years ago, but it now feels tired and lacking investment, particularly in the rooms. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable, although nothing especially memorable. Overall, we left feeling disappointed and agreed that we would not return to this hotel in the future. Unfortunately, we also felt a similar sense of decline around Sitges itself. Over the years it seems to have lost some of the warmth and charm that made us fall in love with it in the first place. Several of our favourite restaurants and local spots have disappeared, and the atmosphere no longer feels as welcoming as it once did. Like the hotel, the area now feels increasingly overpriced while offering far less of the character and friendliness that used to make it so special.

The old man at the Reception (12.05.2026 afternoon) is very unfriendly. Other staff is good. Very disappointing.
