Perfect stay with the family. Very beautiful hotel, facilites and landscapes. Nice and professional team. Very complete all inclusive.

The resort is beautiful, very clean, and perfect for families with children. There are plenty of activities for kids, the pools are excellent, and the beach is wonderful. The food was delicious with a great variety, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Esraa from the Guest Relations team. She was incredibly professional, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. She made sure our stay was comfortable and memorable, and her care and attention to every detail truly made a difference. We highly recommend Steigenberger Alcazar to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious family holiday. We will definitely come back again!

It's billed as a 5* but it is not. The aesthetic is very nice- the layout areas and most facilities - it had great potential. The service really let it down. Some staff were lovely and took the time to be kind and genuine (the entertainment team , the Sanfair beach bar team , the guy doing roaming pool side drink and the guy selling the spa facilities). the bit were service was lack was genuine care: Our son got sick ( very frequent diarrhoea for a day and lethargic and needed to see the onsite doctor twice a day for the last 3 days of our holiday for IV fluids and meds). We reported his sickness to the reception and we asked about getting food to the room as we did not want to leave a sick 5 yr old to get dinner , they did kindly send boiled chicken and rice and soup when were asked asked about food. They did asked where we ate the day before bit no other concern. Before each clinic visit we needed to call the reception to check the doctor was on site ( twice a day for 3 days) - not once did anyone ask about our sons wellbeing or needing to see doctor so often. Maybe we were spoiled by our last Egypt visit ( to the Four Seasons) or our usual holiday - Dubai - but it takes nothing to be personal and do more than just the basic. The whole place was just not our vibe - huge family groups ( one set arguing with a smaller family as they reserved a whole area at the pool front type of unfriendly vibe ) - we were glad to have our own pool at our room. Also the beds were rock solid and only 1 decent pillow - the rest were some weird made up pillow - I usually love. huge hotel bed - it was not good!! I'm sure for some it was good but it was not for us - back to Dubai once its open and back to real 5*!!!
