Overall, I don’t feel that this holiday was worth the money we paid. In my opinion, this is a 5-star hotel that does not meet the standards I would expect even from a 4-star property. Our bungalow was very small, old and clearly in need of renovation. Unfortunately, cleanliness was a major issue throughout the resort, not just in our room but also in the common areas. The swimming pool was particularly disappointing. Even first thing in the morning, the water was dirty, with hair and sun cream floating on the surface. Around the sun loungers, we saw discarded nappies, cigarette butts and dirty tissues. The pool bar was also extremely unpleasant and far below the standard expected from a 5-star resort. The public toilets were disgusting and poorly maintained. The area where the pancakes were prepared was also visibly dirty, which was especially concerning as it was a food preparation area. We were also disappointed with the way tables were allocated in the restaurant. The food was okay overall. There was a reasonable choice and we could always find something to eat, but it was nothing particularly impressive for a 5-star hotel. One of the few real highlights of our stay was the entertainment team. They were absolutely outstanding — friendly, energetic and hardworking, and they genuinely made an effort to entertain the guests. They deserve special recognition. Unfortunately, despite the good entertainment and some friendly staff, the overall cleanliness, maintenance and service did not match what we expected from a 5-star resort. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard and would not choose this hotel again.

I’m on the last day of our holiday at Mitsis rodos! We’ve had such a lovely relaxing holiday! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good air con and good variety of food I ate something different everyday and being Greek Cypriot myself I was very satisfied with the variety on the buffet eating some classic Greek food! Fresh fruit bread we all ate well food is available from somewhere all day you will never be hungry here the pizza bar and the healthy bar at the beach was great! We loved the little coffee shop, Mr Dimitri and maria who serve there are just fantastic hard workers who are a pleasure to talk to! The lovely lady at the crepe bar and all the staff from the lovely young lady who checked us in the staff in the restaurant the man who helped us to our room they all go above and beyond! The entertainment is good its nice to just relax and have a little sing along and dance The pool area is hard to find to find a bed but plenty of seating around but the beach was amazing and we spent most our time there! Location is lovely if your just want a relaxing holiday some lovely little shops across the road and restaurants only 20ish minutes to Lindos and plenty of choice of transport to get there! We’ve had a fantastic week thanks to all the staff!!!
