We were at the hotel in August and were satisfied overall. For a 3-star hotel, the value for money is good. Particularly positive: We were able to move into our room at 10:00 AM, even though check-in was not scheduled until the afternoon. The room was clean, the room service was friendly, and there were fresh towels every day. Sun umbrellas can be borrowed free of charge. Some points could be improved: The balcony light did not work and was not repaired despite being pointed out. The room was missing a kettle, cups, and cutlery. The refrigerator should continue to run even when away. The buffet could be better labeled, especially for meat and sausage, as it was often not clear whether it was lamb, beef, or pork. The machine water at breakfast tasted strongly of chlorine. We found the coffee policy impractical: After 9:00 AM, there are no more disposable cups for the terrace. If you want to take a coffee with you after that, you have to pay for it at the bar, even though breakfast is offered until 10:00 AM. Furthermore, there were several arguments between the employee "M. C." at the restaurant reception and guests during our stay, which we found unpleasant.
Hotel with many drawbacks; I will list them one by one. The people who work there are very friendly. Everything is focused on German tourism; pool hours are from 10:00 to 18:00, so when you are most comfortable, you either go to the beach or you have nothing left to do. Very scarce animation theme, if not to say nonexistent. Well, and not to mention the food, which is inedible and they camouflage what is left over at night for the next day with another sauce or other things. And they only have breakfast and dinner hours, meaning you have to fend for yourself at lunchtime because you cannot eat at the hotel, and the surrounding bars are all junk food (kebabs, pizzas, hot dogs, etc.). Hotel prices for drinks are very expensive and they serve fountain sodas. The pool area is extremely slippery, with little cleaning on its terrace. Instead of cleaning the small pool during hours when there are no guests, they do it right in the middle of recreational time, leaving you with areas you cannot use. The ping pong table area cannot be used because a pipe has been broken for a few days and it is full of water, and besides, with how slippery the floor is, it would be reckless. In short, in conclusion, I would not return.
I visited my acquaintances late last week because I wanted to take a look at the hotel. We were sitting in the outdoor pool area. The loud music that was blaring there made conversation impossible. That was really intense. My acquaintances said that the music played from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. because the evening program starts after that. Also partly with music. My acquaintances, who are a bit elderly, said that one would like to lie by the pool without listening to music. I understand that; one would like to read a book or simply just relax. Since there are iPhones, one can listen to one's own music at the pool. And the weirdest thing was, at 6 p.m. the pool area was closed, the guests were at dinner. Except for us, not a soul was in the outdoor area!!! And yet the loud music was still playing. The music was probably just for the entertainment of the staff. Does one really have to play music continuously in the pool area and outdoor area????? That is not a quiet and relaxing vacation. I had had enough, and my acquaintances as well. We will not book this hotel in September, and my acquaintances won't either.
