Room is basic but clean and had everything you need:
1 MAJOR DOWNSIDE is the bar advertises to show world cup but despite having 3 screens they said there not working and therefore not showing world cup football which is a real downside and kills the atmosphere as its sitting empty.
They also have NO wine glasses to serve wine, which is unheard of.
And some of the spanish restaurant staff have quite an unhelpful attitude, there was no table for 9 of us but a million empty tables of 4s and 2s and they refuse to allow them to be pulled together were told just to stand and wait for a table for 9 for however long it takes

We have just returned from a one-week stay here as two adults and a two-year-old on our first visit to Salou. Overall, the hotel was a mixed experience.
The rooms are simple but well-equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a small fridge, air conditioning, and a hairdryer. However, the housekeeping standards could be massively be improved. During our stay, the floors were not swept or mopped, the beds were simply remade each day, the bed linen was not changed, ‘clean’ towels was not always clean and the curtains had suspicious marks on them in places to list a few things.
The breakfast and evening meal options were generally good, with a decent variety of food available, like beef brisket which was delicious, There is also a children’s food section, although it seemed somewhat neglected and was not regularly monitored or replenished. On the first and last time we ate from this area, we experienced upset stomachs afterwards. While we cannot be certain this was the cause, it is our suspicion so would recommend avoiding this area.
I would recommend avoiding the pool bar food. We ordered a burger and fries one afternoon and waited around 30 minutes for the meal, it would have been quicker me walking down to the front, ordering some food and then walking back… the quality also was noticeably below that of the food served in the main restaurant. The ordering process also appeared disorganised. Another guest and I were both waiting a long time for fries, and despite being told they were still cooking, when a batch was ready it was allocated to a different order, resulting in an even longer wait.
The staff, however, were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which was appreciated throughout our stay.
The pool areas are kept very clean, but they can become extremely crowded with little sunbeds available. There is one main pool and a splash pool for younger children, although neither is particularly large. At peak times, it felt very overcrowded.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the later evenings was not ideal for families with young children in my opinion. During our stay, there were several occasions where guests were smoking cannabis on the premises, and noise levels became quite high late into the night, also from other hotels near by. From around 11pm onwards, there was often shouting, running through the corridors, and general disruption. The children’s disco didn’t start until 9pm which was too late for our toddler so was our choice not to attend so we cannot comment on the quality of the evening entertainment. Yes we chose not to attend the evening entertainment, but even so, this was one of the noisiest holidays we have experienced.
We also visited PortAventura World during our stay, which is around a 20-minute walk from the hotel. We arrived for the 10am opening, as did what felt like half of Salou! If you’re visiting with young children, I would recommend arriving slightly later, around 10:30am, unless you’re keen to maximise your day and don’t mind the crowds. There were hundreds of people gathered at the entrance waiting for the gates to open, which felt quite overwhelming, especially with a toddler. Some visitors were rushing through the crowds without much consideration for others. It’s also worth noting that you cannot take food or drinks into the park, as bags are searched on entry and any outside food or drink must be discarded. Despite this, the park itself is impressive—it’s large, clean, well-maintained, and offers a great variety of rides (note only a handful for smaller children under 1m tall).
On a positive note, the beaches are beautiful and only around a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Salou itself is very clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of shops nearby for essentials. For anyone looking to save money, I would highly recommend walking to Mi Alcampo supermarket, which is about 10 minutes away and offers much better prices than the smaller local shops.
Overall, the hotel has some positives, particularly its location, friendly staff, and clean pool areas and we have enjoyed our holiday! But there are several areas that could be improved.

Good hotel. Pool area, rooms and facilities are all nice and it's in a good location. Short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants and the theme park.
We had a nice stay. Food in the restaurant was varied and mostly good, just a few things could do with being hotter (the pasta especially).
Activities team were great.
Negatives include:
Rude bar staff, especially the ladies at the pool bar. Felt like serving you was a chore.
Mostly miserable restaurant staff. Apart from one or two, you'd think the others would never smile again.
The room lay out was a little strange, 2 double beds and when you add a cot into the mix it becomes very snug with limited storage.
