When we initially came to the hotel we were greeted very nicely by the staff, and we were excited to explore the hotel and amenities on offer. This inital experience was utterly tarnished by the subsequent treatment of the staff towards us and other guests. We've had staff openly tutting at us, shrugging, and being utterly unwilling to provide the enjoyable experience you would expect at a 5* hotel. They ignored women in our party when they sat alone/with just their younger children, often leading to a completely unattended drink service during lunch and dinners at the buffet restaurant. We do have to shout out the spa and cleaning staff, as we never had a bad experience with them, and they were incredibly helpful. However, when 50% of the staff are openly rude, it makes the experience of dealing with staff a lot more arduous. When we were understandably frustrated with slow service, there was often no offer of explanation or help. The amenities such as the pool are nice, but at the kids pool you'll either have a lifeguard who whistles at every infraction or someone falling asleep and having a snooze for their shift. Rules are inconsistent from different staff as well. Some days you'll be served only at your table, others you have to go up to the bar. And there's nothing to explain this, and we're often waiting for drinks before at least one helpful staff member comes over to inform us of what choice the bar staff made that night. Staff are utterly rude, unwilling to help and openly misogynistic. You're better off staying off at another location in Lanzarote.

Absolutel 5 stars and more from me. For the two main servers at night, Ahmed and Mustafa, they are nothing short of extraordinary. Always do everything to make sure you have what you need, so attentive and caring and genuinely nice people inside out. They work so hard to accommodate your every need and ensure you have the best holiday possible. Couldn’t ask for better people to look after us. As for Alba the bar manager, she has been exceptional throughout the holiday and has the place working like clock work, we have been here multiple times and it won’t be the last time either. Would highly recommend for both couples and for families, whole experience has been 10/10 from start to finish!

We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely stay here again! We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded to a sea-view master suite, which was absolutely amazing. Waking up to that beautiful sea view every morning was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The pools and slides were brilliant and perfect for our 8-year-old. However, the highlight for our son was definitely the virtual reality headset. He absolutely loved it and had so much fun playing with his friend too. The food was good, although we felt there could have been a little more variety and choice. The hotel is right near the beach which is lovely and great for swimming. The harbour is a 10 minute walk with lovely places to eat, drink and shop. The hotel is older and, in some areas, it does show its age. However, this really didn’t take away from our experience because the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and really made our stay enjoyable. The only downside we found was the indoor entertainment area in the evenings. It gets extremely hot in there and would definitely benefit from air conditioning. Overall, we had a brilliant family holiday, made some wonderful memories and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back!
