Here’s a balanced, fair review that keeps the positives while being honest about the basic nature of the accommodation: Good location and clean, basic accommodation Stella Maris Apartments are in a great location, right by the sea and just a short walk from Fuengirola town centre and the market. It’s also easy to get around on foot, with plenty nearby. The apartments are simple and basic, and the rooms are quite small, but everything was very clean and well maintained. They have everything you need for a self-catering stay, including a fridge, microwave, hot plates, and the usual plates, glasses and cutlery. The pool is small but perfectly adequate, particularly given the fantastic beachfront location. Overall, this is a good choice if you’re looking for clean, no-frills accommodation in a convenient location. You’re paying for the location and practicality rather than luxury, and for us, it provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Brilliant stay with the family. The location is perfect with restaurants and bars either side of the hotel. Supermarket 5 min walk from hotel. The 1 bedroom apartment is very spacious with a small kitchen to make breakfasts and snacks . The pool can be overcrowded at times as it’s quite small but you soon get used to it. Excellent value for the money spent

Location is excellent right on the sea front. But access to the pool isn’t great, you have to go outside and up a small steep ramp. Would it be possible to access the pool from the bar for those with mobility issues ?
