We stayed at Rixos Bayview with our family in August 2026. Although our stay began with a few disappointing experiences regarding communication with the reception/front desk team, which initially left me feeling that my concerns as a guest were being overlooked in a hotel with such an outstanding reputation, I eventually had the opportunity to understand exactly why Rixos is so highly regarded for its service. After casually mentioning the issues we had encountered to the manager of the Asian restaurant, the response was immediate. Not only were our concerns addressed promptly, but Mr Mohamed Khaled, who was the hotel’s Manager on Duty, personally came to our room to speak with us, understand what had happened and make sure the situation was resolved properly. I would therefore like to express my sincere appreciation to Mr Mohamed Khaled, to his colleague at the Asian restaurant, and to Mr Mahmoud Salah for their remarkable responsiveness, professionalism and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Their involvement completely changed our experience and demonstrated the level of hospitality one would expect from the Rixos name. Rixos truly deserves its reputation as one of Hurghada’s top holiday destinations. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and conveniently located very close to the airport. The facilities are excellent, whether you are travelling as a family with young children, as a couple, or with friends looking for a premium all-inclusive holiday. The quality and variety of the food and drinks are outstanding, and the vast majority of the staff genuinely go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and well cared for. One piece of advice, however: should you encounter any difficulties at the front desk, do not hesitate to ask to speak with a senior member of management. Based on our experience, once the right person became involved, our concerns were handled quickly, professionally and with genuine care. I would also like to thank the wonderful bartenders and waiters who served us every day with a smile, as well as the lovely staff at the ice-cream stations, who somehow always had endless patience with our little ones while they tried to make the very serious decision of which flavour to choose! A special mention must also go to the teams at Mykonos, the Asian restaurant and Salt. The service was exceptionally professional and attentive, with an impressive eye for detail, and the food was absolutely delicious. I would strongly recommend making reservations at these restaurants during your stay — they are not simply places to have dinner, but experiences in themselves. Our thanks also go to Mr Ahmed Shawki, who made sure that our floating breakfast experience was truly special and memorable. Ultimately, I can wholeheartedly recommend Rixos as a holiday destination, and we are already looking forward to returning. Despite the difficulties we encountered at the beginning of our stay, the way the situation was subsequently handled completely changed our impression and turned our holiday into a wonderful experience. In the end, choosing Rixos proved to be one of the best decisions we could have made for our family holiday. My husband, our children and I left with beautiful memories — and with every intention of coming back.
