Very dated hotel in need of a referb in all areas.Lifts are always broken and it has 5 floors!!!!.Pool bar ( only bar open 2nd week of June ) service is so slow you could die of thirst .Breakfast was fine dinner was of poor quality.NOT RECOMMENDED
Stayed for three nights. We were told at check in we had been upgraded to a premium room. The room was ok but nothing special, fairly spacious. The bathroom was a generous size though and the shower was good, lots of hot water. The balcony was a decent size with a table and two chairs. Standing up, the view was good of the pool and the sea. As soon as I sat down I could see only the sky! Nothing they can do about the architecture I suppose but what a shame! Looking at the hotel from the pool, about 85% of rooms had completely solid walls on the balcony rather than railings so would have the same issue A surprising, and disappointing, point - not all rooms, including ours, had tea and coffee facilities provided . We were told you had to pay an additional 10 euros for this. Although not a lot of money this seems really mean and not what you would expect in a 4* hotel. We refused on principle We only ate breakfast here. You could sit outside and there was a very good choice. Couple of niggles were that there didn’t seem enough staff - tables were not cleared and when some items ( butter, orange juice, bananas) were missing, it was not always possible to find someone to ask to replenish. On a positive note, the pool area is pleasant and there are loads of beds available. I think you could find a bed at any time of day. The pool is a good size for swimming as well as relaxing. We had a car and there were loads of (free) spaces. The only lift to our room ( 4th floor) was frequently not working - several times on each day of our visit. We were eventually told we could use the service lift but there was no sign to this effect snd one staff member couldn’t find it ( after I had gone back to reception to say I hadn’t been able to find it either!) All that was needed was a simple sign by the lift. We asked to extend check out by 90 minutes but were told this would incur a charge of 30 euros, which we thought was a bit steep. I’ve rated it a 4 overall as the most important features to us were the location, the pool area and the bed availability and these were all good so on balance we would return. Our niggles ( apart from the architecture!) could be easily resolved if the hotel management chose to do so.
