I stayed here on my own with my 4 year old for a weekend for Disneyland Paris. Check-in in and check out was smooth and the staff were very friendly. The food was pretty good for a budget hotel. Rooms are basic but very comfy bed I found. Like I said budget hotel so don’t expect the world.
However, I had a huge security issue with my hotel room door. When it shut, it wouldn’t shut all the way and stayed open slightly so you could push it open. You had to pull it shut and lift the handle to make sure it was shut. I am unsure if it was just my door or just in general. I made sure I shut it properly each time, however we came back from the Parks one night and my door had been left open by the cleaners!! Luckily nothing had gone missing and I don’t think anyone else had been in there, but as a lone female with a toddler this was worrying.
What I will say is I told the staff and immediately a handy man came to look at it and tried to fix it. He said it would need another part, but couldn’t get it until the next day, when we were leaving. They offered me to change to a new room, so can’t fault them once I brought the issue up.
I’ve seen many reviews about the shuttles and yeah they are busy but I don’t think they are as bad as some guests have said. We managed to get on every time and got my pushchair on to.
I probably wouldn’t stay here again just given how basic it really is, but I wanted to do it budget friendly so yeah.
Ocenjeno z 0b7mHelpful staff. Anxiety provoking. Not baby-friendly
Unfortunately it was not suitable. We went with a 14 year old, 4 year old, and a 3 month old.
The room was ok (with the exception of not having a kettle), and a good size considering 5 of us were in the room, and the woman that checked us in was very helpful and also managed to get us next door to our friends,
Staff in general were helpful and friendly. I dread to think how many issues out of their control they're confronted with.
There is no 24 hour access to hot water other than a microwave, which isn't suitable for feeding babies. We had to pay 30 euros for a coffee machine (and a fridge that we didn't use), which was not clean. Even after putting 2 descalers in it (a technician said we could do this after the first one wasn't producing hot water), it still poured black bits into the cup, meaning we needed to rely on hot water from Disneyland (which was still difficult to get), or the bar, which opened at 5pm, for feeds and sterilising, and we had wasted 30 euros. Luckily we had several ready made bottles.
The shuttle is hectic, taking any pram is going to cause difficulty, especially if you have other children too. You won't get to sit down on a seat so prepare for that.
Food was good, breakfast is busy at certain times and you may need to wait a few mins to get what you want, but hardly an issue. The evening bar is ok and the food was very good.
Would I stay here again? No. Even without needing the hot water, the shuttle causes enough anxiety to last a lifetime. Next time I'll be staying inside Disneyland.
All issues we had were out of the staffs control, and they tried to help to their best, but after a while it's easier for us to give up trying and get on with our holiday.
Ocenjeno z LauraMichelle1515All the negative reviews about the shuttles are true!
Every single negative review here about the shuttles is unfortunately true. They are scary and dangerous! And it’s not just at peak times, it’s all day. We tried a few times at 3pm and 6pm and couldn’t get on. There is 1 shuttle serving 6 Disney affiliate offsite hotels… I mean ONE in rotation. So if you can’t get on, you have to wait until it comes back around. Then during this wait the crowd reforms and you’re in exactly rhe same position. The schedule says every 20 minutes but that’s just not true. There is no queuing, it’s just a free for all and everyone is pushing to get on. We ended up giving up and walking too and from the parks because we had 2 small kids and no car seats therefore can’t get a taxi. The walk is flat but takes a good 30 minutes. Also at the parks bus stop, there are taxi drivers prying on this specific bus stop because of how bad it gets and they are trying to get you to go with them instead (and overcharge!). It’s just not worth it. Pay the extra money and stay on site!
The actual hotel is fine. It’s basic but fine for a base and a place to sleep. Breakfast was fine before 8am but got very busy after that point. DONT fall for the pizza meal deal, it’s rubbish, it’s just oven pizza.
