We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at this lovely hotel. I was slightly nervous after reading some of the negative reviews when I booked this hotel, but these were dismissed instantly as soon as we arrived. We had a lovely family room which was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was a welcome addition. We never had an issue getting a sunbed as there are plenty for everyone. We enjoyed the food on offer, and found there was something for everyone. We found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful. It is set in a quiet area and there are no shops nearby, but that did not bother us. We took advantage of the free shuttle bus to the beach (5 minute drive) and also took a trip into Rethymno (20 minute drive). If you have young children and are looking for a hotel with childrens entertainment, then this is not the hotel for you. If you are looking for a relaxing and chilled hotel then I would highly ecommend. We will definitely return in the future.

We was worried at first with reading the negative reviews. We had a lovely stay our room was modern and clean we had a ground floor family room with two balconies situated close to the reception area and main restaurant which was ideal for us having two older children 22 and 17 year old we mainly used the adults only pool with fantastic views, calm and relaxing atmosphere which is what we wanted from our holiday. We had the beer, cocktails and mocktails from the bar which in our opinion was nice, yes if you are taking them round the pool you have plastic glasses but would expect this at any hotel. Staff was friendly we didn’t have any issues of rudeness Penny did come and speak to my son and husband to ask his age as he was in the adults pool but wasn’t abrupt and glad they was monitoring it as we did experience families bringing younger children in the pool although it was made clear to us on arrival it is an adults pool for over 16. Food was nice but got very repetitive over 8 days of staying but we have that in other hotels all inclusive. We wanted a quiet relaxing holiday which is what we got if you are looking for entertainment and drinking lots this is not the place for you. We took cards to play in the evenings when sat at the bar area and went to play pool on a couple of evenings in which they play music in that bar and is more of a lively atmosphere. I wouldn’t rate it 5 star but good value for money for what we paid. We got a private transfer which took an hour and 20 minutes to get to the hotel from Chania airport. Not much in the area need to get taxi or their shuttle bus.

We are still here and only 2 days in but I wanted to write a review now because I have read every review over the last few months and I think many negative reviews are wrong and unfair so I want to put a stop to the misinformation right now. Location is secluded and very beautiful. Only a mile from a small town and beach and the shuttle is close enough to the city. Atmosphere is outstanding, staff are the friendliest ever and the hotel is stunning in every area. The rooms are well presented and stylish and I have no fault with them. We have 2 balconies and everyone in my family is happy. The kids are very hard critics on holiday and this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in according to them. We love the pools, the gym, the food, the bar and Despina’s orange juice and iced coffees are the best. Yes, they are 2 euros each but worth it. The food is amazing authentic Greek food but also the basic beige rubbish for the proper Brits abroad. Please book this hotel. Yes, it is not a five 5 star as some may be expect but it is extremely good value for money…. Reviewed by a mum, dad and their teenage kids
