We arrived at 11am and as our room wasn’t ready had to store our cases with reception until we received a call from the hotel to say our room was ready. So we went out for some lunch. By 4.30pm we had still not heard so we returned back to the reception and the room was ready. We were allocated 74i which was block 7 on the 4th floor this room was overlooking Vista Sur shopping centre with a Sea View. This was an Duplex apartment: The apartment was very dated and was in need of a refurb. We struggled to open the wooden shutters as they were very old and rickerty. We were unable to use the balcony light as it did not work so sitting out on an might was in darkness. Downstairs there was a kitchenette which consisted of a 2 ring electric hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and toaster and a kettle. The cupboards were well equipped with cooking utensils. There was a table with 2 chairs a sofa that converted into a double bed a coffee table and a wall mounted TV with HDMI so we were able to use our fire stick as the free WiFi was good. There were shelves behind the tv which provided plenty of storage. Unfortunately there was no ceiling fan, it appeared to have been broke at some point then removed and not replaced, so because of this we had to hire an air con unit from Hilary’s at €45 pw which was pointless unless you stood in front of it as you had to have a hose out of the balcony door so the door always had to be ajar. We found out that most of the electric sockets would not work but luckily always take an extension lead which was a godsend in this instance as we only had one spare socket that was usable as the hotel had provided us with an extension lead in order for us to use the air con unit but this was shared with the tv at one end of the room. Upstairs there was 2 large single beds pushed together with bedside tables. There was 2 wardrobes 1 at the top of the stairs which contained the safe this morning as €36 for 2 weeks including a €6 refundable deposit and one in the bedroom which have plenty of storage. Again there was no ceiling fan, but luckily someone had left a shop bought on on our walkway so we used that in the bedroom. The bathroom was nice it had a walk in shower, toilet, wash basin and beday. There was a wire storage rack which was handy. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows which was a pleasant surprise. Housekeeping was 5 out of 7 days. We had to request more towels as we were only provided 2 hand and 2 bath but there was 3 adults. The balcony floor was never swept or mopped the whole of our stay nor did it appear the floors or the stairs were. Many a time we had bags of rubbish containing empty water bottles, pizza boxes etc but more often than not these were not removed yet they would remove the rubbish from the bin under the sink. On our last couple of days we saw what looked like little piles of sand under our door. According to Google these belonged to wood mites 😳

I love staying at coral compestella beach golf I find all the staff lovely and friendly cleaning is amazing. apartment was always lovely cleaned and smelt beautiful Very helpful at reception desk Loves our pool room A1 apartment pool room Have been now four times and looking to book our next trip

The activities at Coral Compostela Beach (Tenerife) were very fun. Especially Fabio (the minister of joy for all the children) I recommend it for all families. Regards Percy vt.
