Check In was a bit hit and miss as our room was not available at the check in time of 3pm and we was told to return in 15 mins and it would be ready and it was not, so told to wait in reception and they would come and get us when the room was ready. It hit 4 pm so we went back to reception and was told it was ready 15 mins ago so it was not the best of starts. The room itself was spacious and clean a family room with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so no complaints on that front. The swimming pool area was clean and plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day. If you hire a car there is plenty of street parking around the hotel so no need to pay hotel fees all within a 5 minute walk. The food is where it lets itself down. Yes there are plenty of options and the salads side of things are well presented and appealing, but anything hot is not much to right home about …This chips are cold and the meat and fish dishes are low on fish and meat so it has a feel of cost cutting on ingredients. The resort itself is good with plenty of nice walks along the front and in the neighbourhood village harbour every morning the local restaurant feeds the turtles and Manta Rays which is well a 8am visit. If you also like plane spotting this is the place for you. Overall decent but dated hotel let down by the food and care from the staff on reception.
The best hotel we have tried in Tenerife. The staff are lovely, our room is completely quiet, all facilities work and the breakfast couldn't be better.
