Security Issues Front door lock extremely difficult to open; required force and several minutes to gain entry. Electric gate to driveway not working. Requires parking on a road, where traffic comes around a blind corner at speed. Glass sliding door to pergola cannot be locked, leaving the property insecure and accessible from the adjacent main road. Strangers can get in and children could get out on to what is a very busy fast road. Safety Issue, Electric fuse board dangerously taped up. Loose, unfixed dirty toilet seat in the En‑suite. Missing louvre panels on external shutters (ground floor + first floor). Safe not fixed to any surface, yes it could secure valuables, but any thief could just pick up the safe and walk out with it under their arm. Cleanliness Issues Sofa cushions stained and dirty. Dining chairs unstable and dirty. Bedding looks like its never been cleaned or replaced. Smells of damp. Only one toilet roll provided per bathroom for a 7‑day stay with 5 guests. Ironing board cover dirty, worn and torn. Towels threadbare and poor quality. Curtains hanging off the pole. Air con in kitchen not working. Furniture in very poor condition. Swimming pool border dirty and chipped. Outdoor sofa cushions missing; foam exposed, dirty. Additional garden seating missing cushions. The property was far below acceptable letting standards and gave all guests an immediate sense of discomfort. Hotels.com have worked hard on our behalf to recover our funds, but not even a partial l refund offered by property manager. The property manager stated we did not give chance for them to resolve the problem's - they also said the property was checked before handover, which if it was, the pictures show the poor level of management and quality checks performed.

A lovely villa with all you need plus extra. It is a little far from centre but was not a problem as we hired cars anyway. We were a family of six, grand parents, parents and two young children. The little ones loved the games room. As it was February the pool was too cold for them but they enjoyed playing with the pool toys around the pool anyway.

Just returned today from staying at a villa at Las Caletas with Jet2. Having read reviews on this site we had high expectations. On arrival we had to phone Jet2 as we couldn't unlock the door to the Villa as it had a complicated system whereby you had to turn the key and then pull the door and then push it! The Villa was larger than expected but in need of some TLC. The furniture had marks and stains on it, the basement/games room smelt musty and the water pressure was so low we weren't able to use the baths or showers on the upper floor so the advertised jacuzzi bath was of no use. No toiletries, bin bags or cleaning equipment were left so we had to buy all these items when we first arrived, fortunately Spar and Lidl are just across the road. No instructions were left as to where the outside bins were so we had to keep all our rubbish in the Villa. The villa we stayed in was next to the main road and construction work is currently going on there so there was some noise. We had a good holiday but probably won't stay here again just because of the location as it's a long way from Costa Teguise.
