Vistaflor Bungalows: bungalovi s kuhinjo in ogrevanim bazenom v mirnem delu Maspalomasa
Vistaflor Bungalows je velik počitniški kompleks v Campo Internacional, mirnem delu Maspalomasa na jugu Gran Canarie. Ima okoli 210 bungalovov z lastno teraso in ogrevan bazen s slapom, do igrišča za golf Maspalomas pa je le 800 metrov. Bungalovi imajo kuhinjo, zato lahko sami poskrbite za obroke, kompleks pa ponuja tudi zajtrk, polpenzion ali all inclusive. Vistaflor je dobra izbira za družine z otroki in pare, ki imajo raje več prostora in mir kot hotelsko sobo sredi vrveža.
Sobe in nastanitev
Osnovni bungalov ima ločeno spalnico in dnevni prostor z raztegljivim kavčem, v njem pa lahko bivajo dva ali trije odrasli. Nekateri bungalovi imajo teraso s pogledom na bazen, za večje družine pa so tu bungalovi z dvema spalnicama za največ pet oseb. Vsak ima opremljeno kuhinjo s hladilnikom, mikrovalovno pečico, kuhalno ploščo, grelnikom vode in kavnim aparatom. Na voljo so še klimatska naprava, televizor z ravnim zaslonom, brezplačen Wi-Fi, kopalnica s sušilnikom za lase in opremljena terasa.
Objekti in storitve
Zajtrk, kosilo in večerja so v bufetni restavraciji. Za posebno večerjo je tu restavracija à la carte Vistaflor, ki ponuja tudi izbor vin. Bar ob bazenu streže pijačo čez dan, gostje z all inclusive pa dopoldne in popoldne dobijo še prigrizke.
Osrednji bazen s slapom meri več kot 400 m² in je ogrevan, ležalniki ob njem so brezplačni. Najmlajši imajo svoj plitvi bazen, igrišče in mini klub. Animatorji pripravljajo jogo, pilates, vodno aerobiko in petanko, na voljo so namizni tenis, biljard in pikado, zvečer pa so na sporedu predstave. Recepcija je odprta 24 ur, v kompleksu sta še majhna trgovina in pralnica, proti plačilu pa lahko naročite masažo.
Lokacija in posebnosti
Kompleks je na naslovu Avenida Touroperador Neckermann v Campo Internacional. Zabaviščni park Holiday World je 600 metrov stran, do nakupovalnega središča Yumbo je približno četrt ure hoje. Do plaže Maspalomas vozi dvakrat na dan brezplačen hotelski avtobus. Mednarodno letališče Gran Canaria je oddaljeno 32 km. Hišni ljubljenčki niso dovoljeni.
Zabavno dejstvo
Na isti ulici kot bungalovi, le nekaj minut hoje stran, je botanični park Maspalomas. Na približno 12.000 m² raste več kot 500 vrst rastlin, od palm z vseh koncev sveta do kaktusov, zdravilnih rastlin in kanarske flore. Vstop je brezplačen, med gredami pa lahko opazite metulje monarhe.

We had an absolute fantastic week staying at Vistaflor. The food was absolutely fantastic and definitely better than most 4 star hotels we have stayed at. A fantastic amount of options daily with different themed nights. Always plenty of choice for us and our Young children. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Renovation work we could see is underway to upgrade the rooms. We stayed as a family of 4 and we had everything we needed. We upgraded for the pool view room which was perfect, our apartment door was steps away from the pool and an extremely short walk to the bar and food area. The entertainment was also fantastic. aqua aerobics, kids may run, table tennis, darts, kids club, foam party to name a few of the many entertainment options available, most daily. They also had a kids entertainment in the evenings which our kids thoroughly enjoyed. We saw 2 fantastic singers, x2 amazing dance acts and a very impressive circus act also. The location is perfectly suited, a short drive or taxi ride to the water park, dunes and local shops. Also not to far on foot. The hotel overall was fantastic and well worth 4 stars in our opinion, what made it for us was the staff. Every single member of the staff from cleaners to lifeguards to bar staff to restaurant staff were beyond friendly, so happy to help in anyway and you could see there is a real family feel to the staff and they all make sure every guest is having an amazing time. A huge shoutout to Nourdin, Alberto and Sara who made our holiday so special by making us all relaxed, happy and part of the Vistaflor family. They were all absolutely amazing with our children and went out of their way to always say hello and make sure we had everything we needed and more. We can’t thank them enough. Accommodation with good value for money. To start with, it is very difficult to park in the area after 5 in the afternoon. Checking in online barely speeds up arrival. We booked a suite with a pool and they gave us the one in the very corner, where we could barely see the pool, only from the floor above. It has good air conditioning. The pools are not heated. The staff, in general, is friendly. The buffet was perhaps what I liked the least. It was on the -1 floor and it was tremendously hot. If you didn't go early, you would run out of certain dishes. You had to order drinks from the staff, which was quite inconvenient. I would return because there is a great atmosphere during the day at the pool. I would not return because of the buffet on the -1 level with the heat. There was one day they told us (and it was advertised) that there was a mini-disco and our daughter got all dressed up, excited for a mini-disco that never happened. For that alone, I should give them the minimum rating. A truly ugly gesture. As ugly as the cockroaches and other bugs we found around the accommodation. Also, I should mention that there are quite a few cats around the accommodation, which is important to keep in mind if you don't like them.
Unfortunately we did not have a great stay here Been here many times before but this time wasn’t good We had spent money on day passes at another hotel for myself and my partner as our initial experience at this accommodation was disappointing On arrival we were checked into a bungalow that we were unhappy with It appeared to be privately owned smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and was not particularly pleasant or well presented The bungalow had a washing machine in the kitchen which we were pleased about initially However, when we tried to use it we discovered it wasn't working We went straight to reception only to be told that it was blocked and out of order We requested a room change, which thankfully was arranged We were then given a newly renovated bungalow which was a definite improvement Most of the accommodation was nicely decorated although the upstairs flooring was messy and despite the bathroom being renovated nicely the shower itself had not been replaced and was still the old one Unfortunately things didn't improve completely When we went to have a shower that evening there was no hot water This continued for a full day We reported the issue to reception where we were told that they were waiting for a technician Overall, our experience was disappointing. Although we appreciated being moved to a newly renovated bungalow the issues we encountered really affected our stay Sadly, we wouldn't choose to return to this hotel
