I fly home tomorrow and to be honest I cant wait. I am not one to write a bad review as I understand sometimes things are not so perfect. Lets start at the beginning the photos must be photo shopped as i can honestly say the rooms, area and complex do not look like the pictures. When we arrived you are literally given a map and a highlighted square to say where your room is and thats it. Your left walking up, down and all around to find it with many steps and ramps. Now lets get to the food if you like fish and pork its ok but this is literally what is served at every meal and what is not eaten at lunch is put back on for tea. The roof actually fell in while we were here. We put down for the room to be cleaned and after 2 days we had to chase. There were also cockroaches in the room. I would absolutley avoid. The beds are stained and the blankets and pillows have holes in. There is also no air con. Everything extra is 20 euro regardless. The entertainment was shocking and takes place in a cave. The one positive i would give is location

Stayed 9 nights at Checkin bungalows as a family of 3 with our 1 year old, although in total there was 6 adults 2 children in our group. We had read a lot of negative reviews prior to visiting but it was better than we expected, with positive and negatives. Positive Excellent location. Easy to walk to the beach, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. No sunbed wars!! Ample number of Sunbeds every day, there was 8 of us in our group and had no issues. Pool temperature was good even in October, not too cold. Had sun on our terrace all day long (room 124) Rooms were cleaned twice a week which was fine, rooms were clean and spacious although the hotel is a bit dated. Negatives Bring cash because you need to put deposits down on everything, hairdryer, aircon, iron. (Note they do not have ironing boards) Rooms are quite spread out and very hilly, especially with a pram. No park/ outside play area for children. We were room only so ate out for all meals so cannot comment on the food. Overall it is a good hotel for a large group, location was great, and we were happy with our stay.

We arrived in Saturday and despite not being prepared for the climb to our apartment with our luggage we were pleased with our accommodation as it proved to be quiet apart from road noise but that can’t be helped, yes the place is dated but we accepted that and bought extra utensils etc, our only gripe is the cleanliness as yesterday a maid came in and just took a bag of rubbish, we had already removed several bags, no sweeping of floors or cleaning was done and no changing of towels or sheets, being hot and stuffy I had to take the towels and pillow cases to the laundry room which was modern and easy to use just too get fresh linen, we have had to purchase cleaning items like bleach and liquid to generally give the place a cleanse as it just felt unhygenique, staff great getting us a mop head and plug for sink but surely if your paying. over £3 grand plus you should expect a decent room service, I know it’s a huge place and pay be it’s too big to cater for this amount of people but the cleanliness issue is my only gripe, we are self catering and coping welll but to have no clean sheets at least after 5 days in this heat is not nice. Apologies if I sound like victor meldrew, just being honest.
