Really enjoyed our stay at Creta Star. We booked it last year, before the Iran war, so we’d been looking forward to the holiday for quite a while. The location was great and the hotel itself was lovely. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and it was also nice and quiet with no issues with noise. The food was really good, with plenty of choice and a good range of options each day. We also had a massage which was pleasant, although I think it could have been a little better. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and thought Creta Star offered very good value for money. We’d definitely consider returning.

The staff are thoughtful, after a day of asking for an extra table setting they memorised who we were and did it unprompted when they saw us. It’s a lively atmosphere and there is always something to do. However if you want to go out and explore the town, the taxis are expensive as the main towns are far. Our room for 3 was lovely, it definitely exceeded our expectations. The room was always clean and the whole hotel was in general very put together, even the poolside area. Again, the staff were lovely and the services offered were great. It’s a good resort if you want a relaxing holiday, however if you wish to go off resort as we did be prepared to spend a lot on the taxis. The food was also nice, it had plenty of options for everyone including picky eaters! It also wasn’t too noisy, or too quiet. The music was good by the bar, however when the pool activities take place you can hear this from the spa. When we had massages we could hear the loud noise of the pool activities.
