Its was absolutely horrible!! bugs in the beds, more bugs on the food, cleaners never came to help once and my family and i were there for a week i was disgusted and i paid for my daughter to get her hair done which she then decided she didn't want it done when we got there but they forced her because it s been paid and its my child and they done it without brushing her hair so it was so knotty when she took it out im absolutely FUMING!!!

I wanted to give 4.5 stars. Food A bit samey in terms of there is always soup, always stew, always tagine, but they do change the ingredients. Salad bar is a bit basic but a lot of people avoid due to concerns about how its washed. Breakfast lots of choices from waffles and pancakes, to fruit yoghurt, pastries and cereal. I loved the omlet station with Madhet the sous chef. Didnt think much of the Chinese that is free for 1 night, but the italian that is also free was really good. Stone grill you pay 5 pounds a head extra for and have to pay for your drinks but they are reasonable. You cook your meat on slabs but you get 2 steaks! Considering this is a 4 star nd you get 2 nights in the italian and Chinese included per week, food selection really isnt too bad. And there is. Themed night every night. Facilities Aqua park is brilliant but kids that are around 1.25cm still need to be supervised. We kept being asked to stay closer to our 7 and 8 year old. We don't mind but there were a lot of unsupervised kids so might be an issue for some. Take wet shoes as the floor is boiling and going from one slide to another hurts your feet. Life guards here are brilliant and so friendly. Main pool is lovely with a swim up bar. Raffa at this bar is brilliant and they dont really get breaks. Lots of sunbeds and they are spaced out which is a win for me. Lifeguards will reserve your beds for you at 6am if you tip them. But always beds around. Beach is always empty. Gardens are kept very well maintained. There is a jetty and off the jetty if you go to the left there is a small bit of coral with lots of different fish so take snorkle/goggles. Rooms Our room was not good despite it being renovated I think. The smell of sewage in bathroom was awful and the toilet seat was broken. Our safe was also broken and the last 3 buttons extremely hard to use. They did come immediately to fix everything but the problems came back a few days later and there were no rooms to move us to as hotel was full. We did book with 6 days to go so i think we got the worst room on the floor, looking at the back of another hotel. Our maid was brillaint though leaving animals out of towels everyday. Health Noone got ill in our group, but we used hand sanitiser before and after eating, didnt have ice when put on excursions, drinks bottled water and only brushed teeth with bottled water. We also washed our hands after going to the toilet which a lot of people didnt appear to do. There was also a lot of burnt people walking around and sickness can sometimes be a sign of heat stroke. Staff The staff are what make this place great. Always smiling despite working long long shifts. Do tip those that make your stay special. There are too many names to mention but lots of staff went above and beyond and really work hard. There is a lifegaurd that sits in the side at the back of the lazy river and he made my daughters drip always giving high fives and waving at her as she walked past or floated past. And Ahmed in the main dining room and Italian was lovely. Guests Unfortunately the clientele was what let this place down. Whilst we met some lovely families. There seemed to be a lot of families that just shocked us. From not washing hands, abusing the bar staff, kids calling other kids racist names and bullying in the pool, kids throwing drinks in the pool, verbally abusing the life guards etc. Also the pool was shut 3 times in 10 days as one grown adult vomited all over the swim up bar and kids were sick and 💩 in the pool. Kids were using scooters in the main restaurant! Using fingers to touch food and put it back, taking all of the doughnuts and then not eating them etc. Such a shame. Entertainment Unfortunately this is really poor and pretty much non existent in the evening but our kids loved the pool parties and foam party during the day. There is also water polo, darts and aqua aerobics every day. Overall Considering this is an Egypt 4 star I was pleasantly surprised. Staff, water park and pool really make it something special hence why it has amazing reviews on trip advisor. People need to remember it is a 4 star so food and small touches round the hotel are not there. It sounds silly saying this out loud but just maintain basic hygiene, be respectful to staff and teach your kids to do the same and you will love this place. I would go back.

An Honest Review of Our Stay at Coral Sea Waterworld Resort We recently visited Coral Sea Waterworld Resort as a large group of 10 people. Overall, it was a solid, enjoyable holiday, and we wanted to share our honest thoughts about what went well and what could be improved. 👥 The Group & HealthThe absolute highlight of our trip was that not a single person in our group of 10 got ill during the entire stay! We know that stomach bugs can sometimes be a concern when travelling, but we all stayed completely fine. A huge tip for future travellers to keep it this way: please remember to bring your hand sanitizer and wash your hands frequently! 🍔 Food & DrinkThe food at the resort was just okay. While it wasn't premium luxury dining, it was completely fine and we certainly never starved. There was always plenty of choice and enough variety to keep everyone in our large group fed and happy at meal times. 🎭 Night EntertainmentThe evening entertainment was not the best. It felt a little dated or geared toward much younger audiences, so it could definitely be improved to keep adults and larger groups better entertained after dark. If you are looking for high-energy or top-tier night shows, you might find it falling a bit short. 🌟 Service & StaffThe service here is fantastic. All of the staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. From the restaurant workers to the pool teams, they truly work hard and do it with a smile, making our group feel very welcome.SummaryIf you are travelling with a big family or group, Coral Sea Waterworld is a safe, friendly choice.
