My wife, our 27-month-old son, and I recently spent 6 nights at Kaya Palazzo. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, with some excellent highlights as well as a few disappointing aspects. First, I'd like to mention the positives. The biggest highlight of this hotel was definitely the food. The variety and quality of both the meals and desserts were outstanding. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Another great surprise was our room. We originally booked a Superior Room, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Suite. The suite was spacious, very well equipped, and had a beautiful view, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's patisserie was another standout. Every pastry and dessert we tried was excellent. I also appreciated that the coffee served throughout the hotel was from premium brands such as Nespresso and Lavazza. Unfortunately, the biggest downside of our stay was the cleanliness. Our room had a significant mosquito problem, including biting mosquitoes & Drain Flies! My 27-month-old son's legs were bitten nearly 10 times during our stay, which was very upsetting. The cleanliness of the spa facilities also needs improvement. The floors in the shower area were not clean, and the women's shower area had a very unpleasant and strong odor. Compared to other luxury resorts in Antalya, I also found the hotel grounds to be relatively small, and the evening entertainment was below my expectations. One thing that really surprised me was the animation team's bingo activity. I've never experienced this at any resort before—they charged guests €6 for each bingo card, which felt inappropriate for an all-inclusive luxury hotel. This was my sixth trip to Antalya, and I've previously stayed at Gloria Golf Resort, Susesi Deluxe, Titanic Deluxe Belek, and Orange County Kemer. Based on those experiences, Kaya Palazzo offers excellent food and comfortable accommodations, but there is definitely room for improvement in cleanliness, entertainment, and some aspects of the guest experience. Thank you to the staff for their hospitality, and I hope these points will help make the hotel even better in the future.
Just returned from Kaya Palazzo at Belek. (11July-18 July. 4 adults and 2 children age 8 and 7. We had a fabulous time and can only give praise for this fantastic hotel. Lots of staff both friendly and welcoming it was always service with a smile. The hotel itself is huge and spacious with a large pool and a central bar. There are bars throughout the lounge areas with comfortable seating areas. The spa is spacious with a lovely indoor pool. There are lots of options for accommodation dependant on price. We had double rooms that overlooked the sea that were very spacious. They were large enough to accommodate two children on a sofa bed. Kids club was professional managed with good security for signing in and out. It has its own pool and a diary full of activities plus X box etc. The slide complex for all ages was brilliant with different slides and well supervised. Entertainment was full on starting with mini disco then various acts were brought in to include bands musical theatre acrobatics Latino music etc. It was always well attended and the shows were very professional. Finally the food what can I say? It was glorious. Choice and variety are not adequate words to describe the wonderful delicious selection of food on offer at every serving. So many grill chefs constantly replenishing likewise with the bar staff. We booked taxis for the Land of Legends for the evening light show which was extremely busy and Belek town which was extremely quiet. To summarise the Kaya Palazzo is all inclusive at its best.
Great experience on arrival. Offering champagne and the reception has the wow factor and the surroundings but that’s it. We booked a superior swim up room to find on arrival daughters bed wasn’t made up and to be honest a prisoner would have a comfier bed. No duvet just a very stained mattress protector in the cover. Swim up room was basically a pool on a roof top where we had to walk across grass which was muddy to where you then had to climb up into the pool. We eventually got moved to a different room to then find the curtains hanging off the rail. Took 3 days for it to be sorted. . Also you have to physically bang the door shut as it doesn’t catch. Lock doesn’t work and no dead bolt. Rooms and corridors are looking tired. Bashed walls, paint peeling off, ripped carpets. Beds were made and towels changed every day but floor, balcony and shower never cleaned. Our daughter made wee friends so despite having a swim up room she preferred being at the main pool. Sunbed issues every day. There is not enough sunbeds around the pool or on the beach. Each morning was an early rise 7am and even then most of the front rows of loungers were taken with towels on them. If you want a drink you have to wait a long time before anyone comes to you. We went for dinner one night and we were there an hour and not one member of staff came and asked if we would like a drink/water. It was the same most nights. It was very difficult to get their attention as they were so busy. Husband even stood ages at the bar to be ignored then to be told he was standing at the wrong side of the bar eg staff side. Lots of food to choose from but often cold. Street food restaurant was also a disappointment. Ordered a chicken casaer salad to be given warm lettuce and 4 very small slithers of chicken. Went to do aqua aerobics with my 11 year old but was refused as adults only. I only saw 2 lifeguards for the size of pool area and one of them sat on his mobile phone. It has also been the only hotel to allow glass bottles around the pool area!!! On a positive I do have to say Enver, Memis and Zayner were fantastic. The guest experience team were always texting in the morning to see if we needed anything. Honestly I would never normally write a bad review but this hotel is definitely not 5 star !!! Unfortunately we will not be returning.
